Altrincham’s longest-serving player has committed another year to the Robins’ cause, after Shaun Densmore joined Max Harrop as the latest duo to sign on for next season.
The ultimate one-club man, Densmore joined Alty way back in September 2008 after graduating through Everton’s academy. He has never made a competitive senior appearance for any club other than the Robins.
For Harrop, he has flourished under the guidance of Parkinson and Neil Sorvel and become an integral part of Alty’s squad. He arrived after spells with Nantwich, Ashton United and Ramsbottom, and in the wake of being released by Bury.
Frequently taking the eye with moments of individual brilliance and an ability to find the top corner of the net from distance, the 25-year old midfielder made 38 Vanarama National League North appearances last season, scoring seven goals.
