Didcot Town have signed 21-year-old forward Denilson Silva from Southern League Premier Division Banbury United.
Denilson was previously with Kidlington, where he scored ten goals in 18 games for their development team last season before joining Banbury United in the summer. He has been around the first team, making five appearances for the Puritans this season, but he now joins the Railwaymen on the hunt for more regular first-team football.
He provides manager Jamie Heapy with much-needed additional options in the forward areas, as the Railwaymen have desperately struggled for regular goals this season. Denilson signed forms on Saturday and it has now been ratified by the Southern League, so he will go straight into the squad for the match at Chesham tomorrow night.
