Farnborough have completed the deal to bring Scott Donnelly back to the club for the rest of the season.
Donnelly returns on loan from National League South outfit Margate.
The 29-year-old midfielder enjoyed a spell with Farnborough between 2013 and 2014.
Donnelly has also previously plied his trade with Queens Park Rangers, Wealdstone, Aldershot Town, Swansea City, Wycombe Wanderers (loan), Southend United (loan), Newport County, Havant & Waterlooville and most recently, Margate.
Manager, Spencer Day stated: “Scott needs no introduction to Boro fans and is a great addition to the squad.
“He’s been injured for some time and will need to be eased back in but has the passing qualities we desperately need to improve on in recent games.
“At this time of the season there are opportunities to be grabbed and and with Margate going through a takeover and a new Manager, we would have been silly to turn the option away.
“It’s a fantastic deal for Boro and we are extremely grateful to everyone at Margate for their support and wish them well under their new regime.”
