In the 2013/14 Youth Alliance League, Whitehouse made twenty-two appearances and Rovers finished second overall.

Favourable positions for Whitehouse are out wide or in the number ten role.

The youngster has signed a two-year professional contract with the club and has featured on occasions as a substitute in cup games against Burton Albion in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy and Weston-super-Mare in the FA Cup before making his League bow – again from the bench – in a 2-0 Boxing Day win over Coventry City.
