Dorchester Town winger Mo Baghdadi admits he has to “keep going” following his four-goal display in the Magpies’ 6-0 Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division win against St Ives on Saturday.
Bristol Rovers loanee Baghdadi, 21, has now scored seven goals during his near-two-month stay at the Avenue and the German ace is set to return to Rovers after a trip to his native country over the festive period. But with Rovers’ Under-23 coach Chris Hargreaves watching his goal-studded performance from the stands, Baghdadi admitted he is targeting a breakthrough into the League One club’s first team.
He told Echosport: “My goal is to go in the first team in Bristol. He (Hargreaves) will tell me what is the best for me and then I’ll do it.
“I’m open for everything and my goal is by the end of the season to go in the first team. I heard he (Hargreaves) was here and it’s better he sees the four goals.”
