Dorchester Town have announced the signing of former Weymouth FC player Domenico Panesar-Dower.
Dom, a talented pacey midfielder, moved up to the Terras first team after impressing in their reserves last season. He made his Southern Premier League debut in their 6-1 victory away to Basingstoke Town in February.
In his youth, Dom was selected to represent Great Britain Colleges, he secured his spot alongside 16 other elite young footballers from across the country. He attended a training camp at Manchester City’s training ground before playing two warm-up matches in the UK ahead of an international tournament in Italy.
Speaking about Dom manager Craig Laird said: “Dom is an exciting midfielder come winger. He is full of pace and an exciting player to watch. He is young and full of enthusiasm for the game”.
Craig will also be looking to sign former Bridgwater Town youngster Jordan Lovibond. Jordan is another young and exciting player. Only 18 years of age but full of pace, he can play on either wing.
