Chelmsford City have been given a boost as Jack Bridge and Jason Williams have extended their loans.
Both Southend United loanees will remain at the Melbourne Community Stadium from the League One side until the end of the season.
Bridge, who has netted twice in three appearances so far, has excelled in the wide positions, while Williams has added some support for top scorer Billy Bricknell.
The striker netted 6 times in eight matches during his loan with the Clarets last season, although he will be missing for three matches – against Truro City, Maidenhead United and Hemel Hempstead Town respectively – after picking up a straight red card in last week’s 3-2 home defeat by Margate.
With the blow that Hugo Skepelhorn has been ruled out for the rest of the season, this move will undoubtedly help remove some pressure from the shoulders of Bricknell and help give the side an attacking advantage as they sit outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
