Brackley Town made a couple of late signings, bringing in young George Jeacock on a six-month loan from Oxford United and wide player Lewis Rankin after impressing in pre-season.
Young striker Jeacock made the step up from the youth team to sign his first professional contract with Oxford United in May.
The 18-year-old has been with Oxford since the under-8’s and had loan spells at Farnborough and Didcot Town last season.
Able to play up front or on either wing, Bicester-born Jeacock, was top scorer for the under-18 side last season, earning him the chance to turn pro.
Rankin joins after a spell with Midland League Premier Division side Coventry Sphinx.
He signed for Sphinx last season having left Rugby Town.
He signed for Rugby in October 2014 after being released by Coventry City where he was given a squad number but never made a first-team appearance.
Rankin immediately impressed for the Valley with a number of goals and assists in his first few games for the club.
The winger signed a contract with Rugby in January 2015 to keep him at the club until the end of the 2014/5 season before leaving the club in June 2015.
