Leek Town manager Ant Danylyk has boosted his squad by agreeing terms with former Crewe Alex defender Toby Mullarkey and Stockport County winger Sam Grimshaw.
Grimshaw finished last season at Stockport County after also having spells at Southport and Ramsbottom United.
He began his career at Manchester City before joining Altrincham and Glossop North End. Whilst with the Hillmen he impressed enough to earn trials at both Manchester United and Crewe Alexandra last summer.
Mullarkey – enjoyed a spell at Leek on loan from Crewe Alexandra in the 2014/15 season helping Lee Casswell’s side to the play-off final. He spent part of last season on loan at Witton Albion before being released by Crewe.
In further news, Blues’ goalkeeper Chris Martin has committed himself to the club for another season whilst full-back Ryan Grocott has also agreed terms.
Meanwhile, Danylyk and his assistant Paul Donnelly, will both sign Evo-Stik forms when the registrations window opens on 1 July.
