Dover Athletic left-back Bobby-Joe Taylor has his sights set on the National League play-offs following his side’s FA Cup exit.
The Whites were knocked out of the FA Cup at the second round stage following a 3-0 defeat at Peterborough United on Sunday.
Dover are now looking to make ground on the top seven in their league campaign, sitting five points off the play-offs in 14th place with two games in hand.
The Whites matched their League One hosts for spells of Sunday’s defeat, and Taylor wants his side to take the positives of their performance into their league campaign.
“As long as we can put that commitment, endeavour and quality that we showed at times [against Peterborough] into the league, then I’m sure we can try and get to where we want to be,” the defender said.
“That’s seventh place, just make the play-offs. That’s what we’re going to [try and] do now.”
