Dover Athletic have appointed Andy Hessenthaler as their new manager.
The former Gillingham boss leaves his role at Eastleigh to return to a club where he enjoyed two promotions as manager between 2007 and 2010. He replaces the long-serving Chris Kinnear, who was let go by Dover on Friday following just one win so far this season in the Vanarama National League.
Dover chairman Jim Parmenter said: “We are delighted to be able to move so quickly to secure Andy’s services and we are now looking forward to working with him and his team.
“This is a brand new chapter for the football club and it starts right now.”
Andy Hessenthaler was a Bosses’ Lounge feature on Non-League Daily at the end of last season, which you can read here
