Andy Hessenthaler said he is “frustrated” over the situation as he searches for an addition to his striker department at Dover Athletic.
The Whites boss has been searching for a reinforcement to his forward options since early January but Hessenthaler is becoming increasingly frustrated at the inability to bring anyone to Crabble.
Manager Hessenthaler previously admitted having a shortlist of three players from which he wanted to sign from; however, he is seemingly having to look elsewhere with his current options proving unwilling to complete a move due to financial reasons despite placing a bid for two players.
He said: “I know fans are being frustrated by me and probably question why we’ve brought a left-back in but we felt we needed something else in that position as we’ve only got Bobby [Joe Taylor].”
