Hampton and Richmond Borough have been boosted before Saturday’s vital visit from Kingstonian with the news striker Nicke Kabamba is staying put.
The forward has impressed since arrived from National League South side Hemel Hempstead on loan in July.
A deal has been struck with the Tudors and manager Dean Brennan has allowed Kabamba to sign permanently at the Beveree.
His nine goals have fired the team to within touching distance of the top, despite the disappointment of losing last weekend’s Ryman Premier game at Leatherhead to the weather.
And manager Alan Dowson is delighted his forward has settled in so well and is tipping him to carry on impressing in a Hampton shirt.
He said: “It’s another bit of good news after Brendan Kiernan signed his contract with us last week and we’re really pleased we have another to add to the list.
“Nicke has been fantastic since he came here. His form has made it difficult for others to get much of a look in – Hemel have been great and they have allowed him to sign here full-time.
“The team trained at a new facility between Hanworth and Sunbury last night on a top-of-the-range new 3G pitch. It was fantastic and they are looking sharp ahead of the weekend.
“Thursday will be another tough work out but they are training well and clearly enjoying their football at the moment.”
