Dulwich Hamlet’s Tanasheh Abrahams has joined Staines Town as he seeks more playing time.
The left-back was a valuable squad member during the Hamlet’s promotion campaign and a very popular person who always had time for the fans, the club say. His affection for the club was clearly demonstrated by traveling from North London to attend the Save Dulwich Hamlet rally last season.
The club say Abrahams asked for the following message to be published:
“When I came to Dulwich I thought I was joining a team. I was so so wrong. What I didn’t realise was that I was joining a family and you can’t leave your family. Although I am now at Staines a piece of my heart will always remain at Champion Hill.
“I will miss Gavin, Junior, Tam, Tony, Bukola, Junior, Junior, all my team mates and club officials, but most of all I will miss the supporters who have shown and given me so much love, support and encouragement.
“Pink and blue flow through my veins yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever.”
