Durham City have appointed Peter Mulcaster as their new manager.

Mulcaster succeeds Didier Agathe, with the former Celtic and Aston Villa player departing the role earlier this month.

His significant previous managerial experience includes time with Darlington RA, Spennymoor United, Bishop Auckland and Northallerton Town.

It has been an extremely difficult start to the new campaign for Durham City, who are currently bottom of the Ebac Northern League Division 2, with one point from 12 games.
