East Thurrock United’s relegation from the Vanarama National League South has now been confirmed.
John Coventry’s team did, however, beat high-flying Welling United 4-1, but Hungerford Town put survival out of their reach by virtue of a stunning victory at champions Torquay United.
Who takes the final relegation place will be determined on the last day, this coming Saturday. Hungerford will actually host East Thurrock, needing just a point to clinch survival.
Truro City are at home to Slough Town, needing a win as well as a defeat for Hungerford. Truro have a better goal difference by three.
