Eastbourne Borough have named Lee Bradbury as their new manager.
It is a new era for the club and for former Portsmouth and Manchester City forward Bradbury, who takes the reins after seven years as Havant & Waterlooville boss. He will come up against the Hawks next season in the Vanarama National League South, having departed recently.
The 43-year-old led Havant to back-to-back promotions, taking them into the Vanarama National League for the first time in 2018. The one-time Bournemouth manager has agreed a two-year contract at Eastbourne Borough, who managed to avoid relegation under interim boss Mark McGhee.
Bradbury told the club’s website: “Right across non-league, Eastbourne Borough carry huge respect, and I always enjoyed my contests against the Sports, and just as importantly, the dealings with the great bunch of people who run the club and support the club. I believe that, knowing the National League as well as National South pretty much inside out, I can bring my experience to take the Sports forward – and to the next level.
“I cannot wait to get started!”
