Eastbourne Borough have signed striker Greg Luer.
Luer, 24, joins the Sports after departing promoted Woking, where he scored nine goals as the Cards secured promotion to the National League.
Luer may be familiar with some Sports fans, having played for the club’s Under-18 side six years ago before he moved to Burgess Hill Town.
It was from there that Luer’s career took off, as at the age of 20 he was snapped up by EFL Championship side Hull City in January 2015.
He made his debut for the Tigers on the opening day of the 2015/16 season, before scoring his first goals in the League Cup that season against Accrington Stanley and Rochdale.
However, with opportunities limited he went on loan to Scunthorpe United, Stevenage and then Maidstone United in a bid for more first-team football.
Leur left Hull at the end of the 2017/18 season, and joined Woking having had a successful trial.
