Eastbourne United have signed East Grinstead striker George Landais for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
Landais represented the Republic of Ireland at U16 level while on the books of Millwall, before going on to play youth and reserve team football for Aldershot Town. Last season for Horsham, he scored 12 league goals in 18 starts, and so far this season has 12 goals for Bostik League South East Division side East Grinstead.
Manager Arron Hopkinson said: “I tried to sign George when I first took the job but it wasn’t the right time for him. I am delighted to bring in a proven goal scorer at the level above into this squad.
“George scored 68 goals over two seasons when last in this league, so with him and Schaafie we have a lot of goals in this side. It’s now on us to create the opportunities and provide these two with the platform to do what they do best.
“I look forward to working with George and hoping he can contribute by firing us to safety.”
