Eastleigh manager Richard Hill refused to speak to the Hereford Times following his side’s FA Cup defeat to Hereford yesterday.

Despite Hereford being in red-hot form, many people felt that Eastleigh would win the fourth qualifying round tie, especially as they play two leages above the Bulls and had home advantage,

But Hereford fully deserved to win and won the game thanks to goals from Mike McGrath and Garyn Preen, while Eastleigh had two players sent off.

The Hereford Times asked Hill for his thoughts following the game, but he said he didn’t want to speak, adding that the only quote they could use was; ”well done Hereford’.

However, Hill did talk to media outlets from the Eastleigh/Southampton area.

Speaking to Radio Solent, Hill said he wasn’t happy with referee Carl Brook’s performance.

“Everybody is going to go away and say we didn’t play particularly well,” said Hill.
