Eastleigh have signed striker Scott Rendell on a one-year deal.

Rendell joins the Spitfires following his release from Aldershot Town. He has also played for the likes of Cambridge United, Peterborough United, Torquay United, Wycombe Wanderers, Luton Town and Woking.

During his time with Woking, between the 2013/2014 and 2015/2016 seasons, he was the leading Conference Premier goalscorer for two seasons in a row, scoring 17 in 34, and 24 in 40, respectively. His spell with Woking ended at the start of the following season due to injury.

Eastleigh manager Ben Strevens said: “He’s a player who we have known about for some time now and have monitored. He is big and physical and is going to be a threat going forward.”
