Eastleigh have completed the signing of Hampton & Richmond Borough attacker Ryan Hill.
Hill, 22, makes the step up a division to join the National League side after Eastleigh activated the release clause in his contract.
The former Stoke City youngster departs after just over two years with the club.
Beavers boss Gary McCann told the club’s website: “We’re obviously disappointed to lose a player of Ryan’s quality, particularly after all the work as a management team we’ve put into his improvement since he joined, but he also very much deserves his opportunity. We’ll miss him on and off the pitch, and will certainly follow his progress and wish him all the very best in his future football career.”
Eastleigh boss Ben Strevens told their website: “Ryan has that energy and ability to beat people in the final third. He’s young, and got that hunger to get better.
“There was a lot of interest in him, and we’re just thankful that we could get the deal over the line. This gives us another really good attacking option in the final third.”
