Poole Town have announces that Eastleigh’s James Constable has signed for the Dolphins on loan.
Initially, the loan is to 4th January 2019 with the option to extend to the end of the season. The Southern League have registered the loan, but it remains subject to FA and National Leagues approval. It is expected that these formalities will be completed in time for Saturday’s away trip to Beaconsfield.
‘Beano,’ as he is affectionately called, spent some time with the Dolphins in 2017/2018 and became a fans’ favourite before returning to the Spitfires. He strengthens an already formidable strike force, giving Tom Killick the type of selection problems that managers love.
Chairman Chris Reeves said: “I am absolutely delighted we have secured James’ signing. He is a player of huge stature with a powerful pedigree. He made a big impression during his short stay with us last season both on, and off, the field.
“His return will give the squad a massive boost and underpins our determination to do all we can to try to win back our place in the National League South.”
