Eastleigh midfielder Jack Payne has signed for Crawley Town.
The move marks a return to the EFL for the former Gillingham, Peterborough United and Blackpool player.
The 29-year-old signed for Eastleigh two summers ago and he now joins Crawley on a one-year contract, with the option of a further year.
Eastleigh boss Ben Strevens told the club’s website: “I’d like to thank Payney for his efforts during his time here. He’s been a key member of the squad both on and off the pitch since he joined us permanently.
“I completely understand his wishes to return to the Football League, and with this move being closer to his family as well, we didn’t want to stand in his way.
“I wish him all the best at Crawley and for the rest of his career.”
