Local businessman Chris Eaton has been named the new chairman of Wythenshawe Town Football Club.
He takes over from Kenny Hope, who stepped down last week after four years at the helm.
Eaton was appointed at the committee meeting, by fellow committee members and will take over with immediate effect.
A senior Business Development consultant with extensive sports club management experience and a background in the financial planning sector, he is a director of Chartis PLC.
Eaton said: “I am delighted to be appointed as Chairman of WTFC. I am convinced that working with the community, the members and all of the football section, will take the club to new heights.
“I believe that building a team ethic on and off the pitch will be the key to our success.”
