The Ebac Northern League have responded to the Leagues’ Committee’s decision to turn down their proposal for a new regional Step 4 league by announcing they have lodged an appeal.
The application to adjust the division’s position in the national league system had been rejected last Friday (19th January) following on from a meeting on the Wednesday (17th). The proposal was to have a new Step 4 league covering the region, under the control of the Northern League.
The league was intended to sit beside divisions like the Evo-Stik North and South and one of its functions would have been to help facilitate an ascent into the third tier of non-league for Northern League clubs.
