Ebbsfleet United have won the race to sign former Norwich City midfielder Ebou Adams.

Leyton Orient FC
The 22-year-old had attracted interest at the end of the 2017-18 season after impressing in a loan spell at Leyton Orient, but Vanarama National League rivals Ebbsfleet are the ones to secure his signature. Orient had wanted to bring the Gambian international back to Brisbane Road, with the club’s director of football Martin Ling expressing his regret earlier this week that a deal looked unlikely.
Upon landing the Greenwich-born player, Fleet manager Daryl McMahon told the club’s website: “He’s had similar or better offers elsewhere but he likes what he’s seen here. He thinks we’re progressive as a club.
“He’s coming to us because he’s looked at our squad and how we performed last season and he thinks he’ll be a good fit. I think he’ll be a big player for us.”
