Ebbsfleet keeper Ashmore ‘should be playing in the Championship’

Ebbsfleet goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore has been tipped to play in the Championship.

Ashmore has become one of non-league’s hottest properties since he joined the Fleet from Gosport Borough just over three years ago.

His highlights reel is quite staggering and there will be no shortage of suitors in the summer.

Speaking on the KM Football Podcast, Fleet midfielder Andy Drury said: “I think Ashmore should be playing in the Championship.

“When I was playing in the Championship (for Ipswich), especially training with the keepers I played with there, he’s better than them.”
