Ebbsfleet striker Danny Kedwell has addressed rumours linking him with a move to Dover, Kent Online say.

The 35-year-old scored his 58th Fleet goal in a 1-0 win over Barrow on Saturday.

He remains the first-choice striker at Stonebridge Road but with the club looking to trim their squad as part of a financial restructure, Kedwell is one of several players bound to have suitors elsewhere.

Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler brought him to Priestfield in 2011 and was part of the ‘gang of four’ caretakers in charge when Kedwell left Gills to sign for Ebbsfleet in 2015.

“There’s always rumours,” Kedwell said. “I haven’t got a clue.

“No-one’s rung me or told me or the gaffer… No-one in the club’s told me anyway.

“I put in what I do on the pitch and it’s the first I’ve heard of it, you telling me this now.”
