Ebbsfleet United have still not paid their players for March, Kent Online report.

Wages had not gone through before Saturday’s game against Wrexham and the players refused to warm up.

Agreement was then reached with owner Dr Abdulla Al-Humaidi to pay the wages by 5pm on Monday.

Fleet played the game and won 4-2 but Monday night came and went without the money arriving.

Speaking on Tuesday morning, managing director Dave Archer confirmed the wages were still outstanding.

He said: “We’re expecting funds to hit our account imminently and are checking every half-hour.”
