Hartlepool United have released David Edgar, Lewis Hawkins, Paddy McLaughlin and Conor Newton.
Pools say the following players remain in discussions with the club regarding their futures: Myles Anderson, Ryan Donaldson, Nicky Featherstone, Gavan Holohan, Scott Loach, Carl Magnay, Liam Noble and Luke Williams.
Craig Hignett’s side have taken up contract options on these players: Ryan Catterick, Aaron Cunningham, Josh Hawkes, Peter Kioso, Kenton Richardson and Niko Muir.
