Under-pressure AFC Telford United boss Rob Edwards is well aware of the magnitude of tomorrow’s visit of rock bottom North Ferriby United.

The Bucks are second from bottom, four points safety, going into the New Bucks Head clash. It is a glorious chance to halt a winless run which stands at six games, and Edwards said: “It is a big game, and they all are.

“There are 17 huge games to come and this is the next one for us so it is the most important. And after this game, the one against Curzon Ashton on Tuesday will be the most important.

“We are well aware of the situation we are in. We need the points on the board so we will be aiming to win the game.

“We have to play on the front foot.”

Telford have not played a Saturday league game at home since losing 2-1 to Alfreton Town on November 18 due to a spate of postponements. Edwards is hoping for a good turnout.

“We need people to come out and support the boys. They need all the support that they can get,” said Edwards.

“We all need to pull in the same direction and after a positive result, things are a lot more rosy.”
