Jack Egan’s loan at Workington AFC from Carlisle United has been disrupted after the attacking midfielder was injured whilst training with his parent club.

He sustained a broken bone in his foot after a collision with United skipper, Danny Grainger, last Thursday and is expected to be sidelined for eight weeks.

Egan had made a favourable impression in his five appearances on loan after making his Evo-Stik Premier Division last month. He scored twice in the 5-1 victory at Halesowen two weeks ago.
