Marvin Ekpiteta has ended his stay with the Chelmsford City and signed for league rivals Concord Rangers after finding himself down the pecking order at Melbourne Park.

Central defender Ekpiteta joined the Clarets in the summer of 2015 following two years in Oxford United’s apprenticeship scheme.

In 2013 he was called up to the Nigeria under-20 squad.

The summer arrivals under Rod Stringer would have no doubt have seen opportunities limited for Ekpiteta, who has decided to follow in the footsteps of Rob Girdlestone and join the Canvey Island-based outfit.
