Enfield Town boss Andy Leese has confirmed the departure of Dan Rumens.
Rumens signed from Braintree Town in July 2017, having also played for Dagenham & Redbridge, Histon, Bishop’s Stortford and Hendon. He made his Braintree debut at Southport in 2016, before going on to make half a dozen appearances for Hendon on a dual-registration basis.
He has played in the centre and on the left in recent seasons, making a total of 87 competitive appearances, scoring three goals.
Leese said: “With Glenn Wilson back fit again and the squad back to full strength, we decided to streamline what we have. We cannot guarantee regular football for Dan and, like all good players, he wants to be playing.
“Dan has been a key part of what we have done over the last two seasons and I’m sure he will quickly find an opportunity at a good level. I wish Dan well and thank him for his contribution at the Town.”
