Cambridge City have secured the signing of Sam Bantick from Enfield Town.
He spent most of last season at Coggeshall, where he scored 12 times in 25 appearances. He then moved to Aveley and scored a further 10 goals from 9 appearances, playing a big part in guiding the Essex side to the runners-up spot in the Isthmian League North.
City manager Robbie Nightingale said: “I am delighted to welcome Sam to Cambridge City. He is a player I have been looking at for a while, and I am really excited to see him link up with our fellow strikers, and wide men and I am very optimistic that our attacking options will improve from now on.”
The new signing will be available to play at Felixstowe on Saturday on the provision that all the necessary paperwork has been processed in time.
