Enfield Town management team Andy Leese and Darren Purse have kannouced the arrival at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium of Ryan Blake and Sam Youngs.
Ryan Blake is a pacy forward who joined Chesham United at the start of the 2014-15 campaign from Burnham. He bagged over twenty goals in his his first season at the Meadow, and went on to score the winner in Chesham’s memorable 1-0 win at Bristol Rovers in the 2015/16 FA Cup, one of a personal tally of 18 goals that season. He subsequently netted another FA Cup goal for the Generals at Peterborough United last term.
Aged 26, he has also played for Hemel Hempstead Town, Tring Athletic, Aylesbury and Hayes & Yeading United.
Another former Chesham player, midfielder Sam Youngs originally made his Generals’ debut at Didcot Town in March 2011, and then, after leaving the club for a while, returned to the Meadow in the summer of 2015. He has had three spells at Rugby Town, including scoring a dozen goals in 2012/13, and has also enjoyed some time at Redditch United. Also aged 26, his other clubs include Hemel Hempstead Town, Banbury United, Ware and Halesowen Town.
