England C faced Estonia under-23s in the International Challenge Trophy at the A Le Coq Arena in Tallinn today looking for the one point that will see them progress into the final of the tournament.

And England got off to a fantastic start when, after just 7 minutes, Lincoln City`s Elliott Whitehouse headed home a James Hardy cross.

However, the lead didn`t last long before Estonian equalised.

But on 13 minutes Paul Fairclough`s side were back in front when Jamal Lowe got on the end of another Hardy assist.

Kingsley James had an effort go just wide before the break, and then just after it, Lowe`s shot went inches past the post.

The home side had a great chance to equalise, but somehow they placed a free header wide of the target.

Fifteen minutes from time, Jack Holland was denied a third goal by a fine save from the Estonian `keeper.

Then, in stoppage time at the end of the game, it was England keeper Brandon Hall`s turn to make a fine save to preserve his side`s lead.

But, despite some late pressure, England held firm to reach the final.
