Fresh from his key part in helping England reach the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup, Harry Maguire was at Gainsborough Trinity’s home friendly with Chesterfield on Tuesday night.

The Leicester City defender was there to see his brothers on opposing sides, with older brother Joe lining up for Trinity, while younger sibling Laurence was in the Chesterfield side.

Chesterfield ran out 4-0 winners on the night in the ‘Battle of the Maguires.’ Like 25-year-old Harry, the brothers are both defenders.

Harry, scorer of England’s opening goal in the World Cup quarter-final win over Sweden, was mobbed by autograph and selfie-hunting fans at the game.

He said on Twitter:

Great night watching @GainsTrinityFC v @ChesterfieldFC. Battle of Maguire’s. @JoeMaguire8 @_lozmaguire ⚽️❤️

Thanks for looking after me @GainsTrinityFC. Hope everyone enjoyed their night. Sorry if I missed anyone. ⚽️ ✏️ 📷
