Barrow AFC manager Ian Evatt is very concerned about the manner of goals his side continue to concede after they allowed their home match against FC Halifax Town to slip away in the second half.
For the fourth time already this season, the Bluebirds failed to pick up all three points after leading at half-time, following away defeats at Wrexham and Stockport and last Saturday’s draw at Chesterfield.
Liam Nolan’s equaliser for the Shaymen was also the third time in the campaign a lead had been lost within three minutes of the second half kicking off and it came from a poor clearance from Brad Barry, keeping up a trend that has worried Evatt.
He said: “There are positives and negatives – the positives are we haven’t been outplayed in any game. In fact, we’ve more than held our own in every game for certain spells.
“But we just have a soft centre that mean when we concede goals we’re not even getting cut open, we’re handing the opposition goals.”
