The Mail report that Barrow AFC manager Ian Evatt is hoping to bring another striker into his squad in time for Saturday’s away game at Havant & Waterlooville.

Evatt’s options up front have been limited by a hamstring injury to Huddersfield loanee Olly Dyson, who has gone back to the Terriers to have it treated, but is expected to be out for a month.

Dyson only joined the Bluebirds just over two weeks ago after Tyler Smith, who temporarily joined League One side Doncaster on New Year’s Eve, was recalled from his successful loan from Sheffield United.

With Rhys Turner also having trouble with his hamstrings in the last week or so, AFC had only Jacob Blyth and Jack Hindle to call upon up front for their 0-0 draw at AFC Fylde.
