Manager Daryl McMahon says he and his players are all accountable for Ebbsfleet’s poor form, report Kent Online.

Fleet have taken just one point from their last four games after crashing 4-1 at Wrexham last weekend. That’s McMahon’s worst run of results in management and it’s dropped his side to 14th in the National League.

He said: “We’re all accountable for what we do. Every player’s accountable for his performance and I’m accountable for the results.

“The players know the level of performance I expect and if you keep hitting below that, it affects the result.

“On Saturday, we didn’t work hard enough and if you don’t work hard, you can’t win football matches.

“We had a long chat on Monday about the standards of the group, what I expect and what we expect of each other.

“Training on Monday and Tuesday was good and we can’t forget that game but we put it to one side and focus on Havant on Saturday.”
