FC Halifax Town manager Pete Wild was left to rue decisions going against his side last night as Wealdstone came away from The Shay with a 1-0 win.
Halifax had Jeff King sent off early on, with Danny Williams dismissed on 79 minutes.
Danny Parish then went on to notch the winner for Dean Brennan’s newly-promoted National League side.
Both managers were also dismissed during the first half.
Wild told Halifax’s website: “We deserved something out of the game, we were well organised. Some of the decisions were out of our control, which unfortunately dictated the match.”
On an injury to Matty Stenson, Wild added: “No one was around him, he put his foot into the grass and he twisted his knee. Everything was transpiring against us; they are not excuses, just the facts of the game.”
