Evesham United boss Paul Collicutt was lucky to call on the services of Adam Mann in the EVO-STIK League Southern on Saturday after the forward fell through a roof at work this week.
The 25-year-old former Gloucester City striker, was still a major doubt for the club’s clash with Paulton Rovers in EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South and West on Saturday after escaping serious injury but suffering a dead leg in an accident while working as a roofer in Slough.
The Robins boss told worcesternews.co.uk on Friday: “We will have to see how Adam is but we have got players waiting in the wings and a competitive squad.”
Mann came off the bench for the last ten minutes in the game, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
