Louis McGrory has become the second Forest Green Rovers player to go out on loan this week having secured a one-month move to Evesham United.

The 19-year-old central midfielder spent time with the Southern League South & West Division side last season, and returns for a 28-day stay that is likely to see him make his debut on Saturday when they travel to Barnstaple.

A product of the FGR Academy, McGrory is in his second year as a professional at The New Lawn. He’s already spent time out on loan this season with National League South Hungerford Town.

Evesham are currently fourth in their division as they look to put pressure on the likes of league leaders Hereford, Tiverton and Shortwood in the race for promotion to the Southern Premier.

They’re managed by former FGR player and coach Paul Collicutt.
