The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League have released a statement confirming the suspension imposed on Ilkeston remains in place.
The Robins’ opening league fixture against Stafford Rangers was postponed on Saturday, after the club were suspended from all football activity.
The League confirmed they are yet to receive confirmation of issues surrounding outstanding payments to credits, so the Robins game at Whitby Town, scheduled for Tuesday night, has now been postponed.
The statement read:
“Further to the league’s statement issued on Friday 12 August, the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League has not received formal clarification or confirmation of the status of outstanding payments to creditors by Ilkeston FC.
Consequently, the club’s licence remains suspended and the scheduled fixture at Whitby on Tuesday 16 August has been postponed.
The club will not be able to participate in any footballing activity until such time as all of the breaches have been resolved to the satisfaction of the EVO-STIK NPL”
