Sanchez Watt says he is determined to play a key role in Billericay Town’s push for glory this season.
The 26-year-old joined the Isthmian Premier League club at the start of November, on an initial two-game deal. But the former Arsenal winger needed just one game to win a deal after firing home on his debut against Maldon & Tiptree.
Watt is now looking to enjoy a prolonged run in the Billericay side, having netted three goals in his 10 appearances so far, beginning with the weekend’s clash against Margate.
“I am back now after I had a little spell out and everything is good,” said the former Southend United loanee. “It is a long season and there are so many games left and I am excited to play a part.
“We play Margate and we know it will be hard. None of these games are easy even if other people think they might be.
“We have players that can change games and crucially we have players with end product, we take our chances. The teams we play are good but we just need to be better. We will not rest until we have won this league.”
