Redditch United have confirmed Richard Sneekes as the club’s new assistant manager.

It follows Matt Clarke taking over as manager this month, with previous boss Wayne Spicer departing.

Former midfielder Sneekes notably featured for West Brom between 1996 and 2001, having also played in the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers.

On bringing in the ex-Rushall Olympic and Sutton Coldfield Town boss, manager Clarke told the club’s website: “To have someone with Sneekes’ experience with us at the club will really add to what we do and will be a massive help to me on the sidelines and in the dressing room.”
