Former Derby County midfielder Adam Bolder has returned to North Ferriby United as he bids to help out his struggling former side.

The 37-year-old, who made his name as a combative midfield competitor for Derby before spells at the likes of QPR and Millwall, is returning to a club where he enjoyed success. Signing for The Villagers from Harrogate Town back in 2014, he helped them to promotion to the Vanarama National League via the playoffs in 2016, though he returns with the club now struggling a league lower.

Hull-born Bolder enjoyed over a decade in the Football League, featuring in Derby’s 2006/07 promotion campaign to the Premier League, as well as once netting a double in a Steel City derby for Sheffield Wednesday at Bramall Lane.
