The Blackpool-based club Squires Gate have announced that former England international Trevor Sinclair has come out of retirement to play for them.

The Hallmark Security League Premier Division side report that the 44-year-old one-time West Ham United and Manchester City winger was in attendance at their win over City of Liverpool FC last weekend and has been training with the club for two weeks. Sinclair’s son Isaac came on in the second half of that game to make his debut and the prospect of lining up alongside his dad, who won 12 caps for England and played at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, is now seemingly an imminent possibility.
